On the historic occassion of the 50th Anniversary of the legendary 1972 Aboriginal Embassy protest action The Melbourne School of Discontent
presents a series of shrot seminars to stimulate peoples remembrance of a significant moment in Australia's history. In addition, Seminar 2 will consist of the only showing in the lead-up to the 50th Anniversay on th26h, of the legendary film
Ningla-Ana made in 1971-72 in the midst of the turbulent events that lead up to the establishment of the Embassy. This is a rare opportunity for you to brush up on some important history you should know and to consider some of the umportant historic lessons to be learned.

These seminars will be presented by some of Australia's foremost Aboriginal writers, academics and thinkers, namely Dr. Gary Foley, Professor of History at Victoria University,
as well as International Enviromental Award winner and academic Jacqui Katona and renowned Australian novelist and historian Tony Birch |
